Group visits (Maximum group size up to 20 people)

Michael and Wendy O'Dea, owners and wine makers at Dionysus Winery, enjoy sharing their passion for wine with small and large groups. For groups of ten or more people we have developed a couple of group tasting options to ensure that your visit to Dionysus Winery meets all your needs. For those interested in tasting a range of wines with a view to purchasing a few to take home we recommend option 1, for those out for a fun day at a winery and not so much interested in tasting a range of wines but catching up with friends and family with a glass of wine we recommend option 2.

Option 1: Group Tasting Experience - similar to the premium wine tasting experience outlined above with an area set for you prior to arrival. The cost of this option is $10 per person and each person who purchases a bottle of wine will receive a $5 discount.

BOOK ONLINE HERE for Option 1 or book by calling 0411 730 724.

Option 2: Perfect if the purpose of your day is to socialise with friends and family at the wineries. Don't worry about tasting a range of wines - go straight to this option! Each person will receive a glass of wine of their choice (five choices provided) and cheese plates (three cheeses, nuts, dried fruit and crackers). Sit back, drink wine, eat cheese and have a lovely time with your friends and family. The cost of this option is $20 per person.

Focus on Wine - Wine Appreciation Workshops

The world of wine is fascinating with countless wines to taste and many varieties to experience. Join this series of wine appreciation workshops to explore traditional varieties as well as topics on tasting wine, serving wine, storing wine, making wine and much more. The workshops will be run inside the winery amongst the winemaking equipment and barrels. You will taste six to eight wines (depending on participant numbers) in each workshop. Be prepared for some fun and knowledge. It is important to note that you will be tasting the wines and they are not glass size so you will be able to stay under the legal blood alcohol limit to drive.

The workshops will be conducted by Wendy O'Dea, co-owner of Dionysus Winery and professional facilitator. Wendy will combine her love of wine and learning to create a fun environment with more than a touch of humour injected into the workshops.

The six workshops are:
